This template gives you a general outline for any research or freelance project. it even includes pages for your references and notes from meetings with your supervisor or manager. If you add all your references to the designated database, you can easily populate them on any other pages where they're needed.
The ability to have all parts drafted in separate pages to be easily copied over to more formal research writing platforms such as LaTeX is crucial. Furthermore, math equations work well and references can be easily tracked and stored in this format.
I made this template to keep track of all my books. So that I could see the states of some of them, like if a borrow or lend a book to someone, keep track of book collections of some of my favorite authors, etc.
Going into my 2nd year of college, I decided to see what was possible in terms of staying more organized using Notion. I am new to this incredible software, but so far, I love it. It has completely reawakened my creativity.
I made this for personal use to keep track of my reading list. I use it with Notion's web clipper. The new articles are added to the first view ''list''. I created other views and named them as categories. The tags help with search at a later time.
I wanted to keep this list on Notion instead of Pocket or another reading app. Since Notion allows for different view options and more customization.
I've been trying to learn German for quite some time but have not been consistent. I've tried using hand written notes and Excel sheets to learn vocabulary but nothing was sticking. Notion helped me achieve the necessary cognition to memorize vocabulary. I spend one hour every day on German lessons and any new word I come across goes into Notion.
I'm a professor at an arts college, and using Notion for my syllabus allows me to edit my assignments at any point during the term, keep track of students’ work, and experiment with collaborative projects in just about any medium.
This template is the online version of my real-life library. I have a small personal library of just under 200 books, and I use this page and the databases inside of it to keep track of what I have, what I want, and what I’ve read.
This library is ever-growing (and I apparently have trouble actually reading through it — please don’t judge my read count haha), but I like to keep it well organized. I’m actually studying to become a librarian, so I see this as a good practice!
These are seminal books that have informed my thinking on various topics. I put them in Notion so I can return to their main talking points when I need to during a conversation. I use toggles to reveal my takeaways from each book I've read as needed — that feature is particularly helpful here.
Anytime I come across anything at all that resonates with me, I drop it into the Resonance Calendar on Notion. This lets me keep track of articles I’ve read, YouTube videos I’ve watched, books and podcasts I’ve listened to, and anything else I come across in life.
Organize all your learning needs in one place.
The student’s OS is a combination of a smart task management system a notebook and a calendar all related and working together.
You will get the following pages and databases:
1. Dashboard
2. Courses Database
3. Library Database
4. Task and assignment system
5. Weekly planer 6. weekly timetable
7. Material Database
8. Costume icons
The goal of a brain board — similar to a collection of bookmarks — is to save and internalize key learnings from the massive amount of articles, podcasts, videos, and other information sources you consume in your life.
I built this template to keep track of these takeaways from all the content I was consuming on a daily basis. You can read more about the inspiration behind brain boards here.
Helps me track the books I am reading, what I have read, and what I need to read (with a shortlist of prioritized books). Keeps me organized!
