One of the most requested templates I’ve gotten is for a daily dashboard so here. it. IS! At the moment, the Notion calendar views don’t have a great daily view so this is my workaround! I’ve found that the most effective dashboards balance inspiration, aesthetic and function while keeping it all simple. To do this, I’ve combined features of other useful daily diaries I’ve used - mood tracking, daily goals, simple task managers and timeblocking!

with the promo code: (-% OFF)

This is for anyone who loves time blocking & needs a tried and trusted daily calendar view.

for a little template tour:

On the top: This is where you’ll find the last seven days of your mood tracking. Enter your mood into the page title, select the template that fits your energy (up, down, neutral), and fill in the page with your daily quote, goals, and experiences! If you’re a fan of the five-minute journal - this is for you!! side note definitely checks out “The Living Mountain - Nan Shepard” for some poetic inspo.

On the left: Time blocking! Start your day by filling in how you intend to spend your time. Drag the "today toggle" over to the calendar in the center at the end of each day to enter your daily time blocking into your 'docket' database.

On the right: In classic @drdtob style, I've embedded a 'docket' calendar and corresponding 'to-do list' for simple task management. Be sure to check out the different views!

Happy daily dashboarding Notion fans!

How can I duplicate the template?

Once you're on the Notion page, you will have the button "duplicate" on top-right. Click on it and choose your workspace. Your template should be there in a few instants 🎉

Research project
This template gives you a general outline for any research or freelance project. it even includes pages for your references and notes from meetings with your supervisor or manager. If you add all your references to the designated database, you can easily populate them on any other pages where they're needed. The ability to have all parts drafted in separate pages to be easily copied over to more formal research writing platforms such as LaTeX is crucial. Furthermore, math equations work well and references can be easily tracked and stored in this format.
